I’ve been using Thematic for several years now. I think it’s an excellent minimalist Wordpress theme, and also a highly customizable Wordpress framework for theme developers. Very easy to manipulate.
Agreed. There’s a learning curve, but the theme is excellent for customization. Tried Buddypress too. Not too bad.
Slight learning curve but once you learn it you realize how truly customizable this theme is. My company has been using child themes of thematic in professional development for months now and it never fails.
Indeed a great theme! Looks great and is easy to work with. Also, lots of child themes to explore. I use it myself in the basic version on digitalattention.com, myhashtag.com and hashtag.se.
