Obox-Design Overview
Obox-design is a design studio offering Wordpress themes for websites and blogs. Their themes are developed to meet the requirements of business, news and entertainment sites. You can also use a theme for your personal website or blog. The company is made up of two people who have a considerable presence in the business.
Theme Functionality
Obox offers only 14 Wordpress themes as of July 2010. The collection is considerably smaller compared to the range of theme selection provided by bigger players on the market, such as Elegantthemes and Press75. Still, it can be said that the diversity of themes is sufficient. The Obox themes have good functionality with cross browser compatible. Each theme comes with a template for multiple pages.
There is a menu management feature which allows you to organize the menus as you like. You can find an ad management feature as well. The adding of a custom logo and comments is made easy. There is a tool for automatic image resizing. All themes from Obox are search engine optimized. There is an analytic feature available for installation.
Theme Graphics
The Obox-design’s themes have classic header images, which are usually in the form of pictures. The colors are standard, but the range of shades is not the most attractive feature of the themes. There is not a grate contrast of color between the different elements. Still, this does not affect the functionality of the themes negatively.
The placement of elements is attractive but there are more impressive designs coming from providers like Templatelite and Elegantthemes. The fonts are standard and have good readability.

You can get a standard package with 2 Obox themes for $50. You have no choice, but to buy two even if you want one. The single price is then $25, which is considerably lower than the $75 you can pay for an Press75 theme.
You can also get a blogging theme for $15, but it will be missing some important features, such as layered image files and OCMX plug-in. You can get a developer pack with 2 themes for $100. If you have $50 more in budget, it is advisable for you to sign-up for their all-in-one package which is priced at $150.
Theme Support
The main document for all Obox themes can be found on the company’s website. Personal theme support is available only through the support forum. You will usually get a helpful reply, but you might have to wait for some time. Generally, the service is standard.
Overall, Obox-design offers diverse and functional themes with good graphics and the price is inline with market rate.

Also, the company’s prices are very affordable indeed as you can get professional quality WP themes at $50 for 2 themes – talk about real savings!

every single one of their themes are gorgeously designed, they are very hip and cool. i run an entertainment site and with the tough competition out there, your site needs to look catchy, edgy and flawless like mine.
I’m a fairly new customer and was looking forward to working with them, however the first sign of problem and they bailed on me. I asked them for help and I never got a response back.
While relatively unknown, I personally believe that Obox-design is very much underrated in the industry as they have some of the most incredible designs with great attention to detail.
Their WP themes are very flexible in the sense that it pretty much lets me customize my website to my own specifications. Browsing through the company’s WP themes and I am truly impressed by the slightest attention to detail that others only claim to have.
On top of all these, the company provides for an excellent support network that I am very happy about.
I simply love Obox, their themes are truly extraordinary! I guess that is what their name means, out of the box?
Anyhow, their themes are very vibrant, very new, very now. Their themes are perfect for younger audiences.
“My Loyalty is with Obox Design”
I’m definitely staying with Obox from here on! Why would I be looking for anyone else? Unique and highly functional themes at very little costs are all that I would need.
I guess oBox’s wordpress themes are okay but quite frankly I’ve had better. I mean, they’re not bad but they are definitely far from the best, that’s for sure. They’re definitely way below in my list of WP theme developers.

Clearly, Obox Design templates are very well search engine optimized. Aside from the fact that I can better manage my site now, I have had a lot more visitors being able to rank higher on search engine listings.
No matter how good your website looks, at the end of the day, it’s the details that count. Obox’s themes have a lot of the great details I am looking for in a developer.
I firmly believe that Obox is highly underrated in the industry.
They are relatively unknown in spite of the great looking highly effective themes they are offering at very minimal costs. You won’t be disappointed!
I’ve been in the industry for quite a while now and have tried out many free and premium theme providers so I have a great deal of comparison and Obox is simply one of the best services I’ve had.
“Nothing special about their themes”
I was enticed to sign up with Obox–design.com because they market themselves to create professionally developed WP themes at the most affordable prices. While it is true that their prices are cheap, their services, however, are far from professional quality – I would’ve been better off with one of the free designs of Ezwpthemes.com with far better quality. Their WP themes are simply plain and standard, nothing special or unique about them to attract loads of visitors and readers to your site.
Most of their designs are the ones you most commonly see in regular poorly developed websites. Their WP theme collection isn’t that very impressive either, while they are unique from each other, still, fourteen isn’t really very much, compared to the hundreds that others offer (and for free). Their graphics lack color and are simply boring to look at. Quite honestly, they are at the bottom of my list so far.
I think what seperates Obox-design from the rest of its competitors is that their themes are not only for Wordpress themes but their selections also include micro-blogging themes for Tumblr and Posterous. Moreover, their themes have advert management system that gives users complete control over the revenue generation system.
Overall rating, Obox-design themes are great and I would not hesitate recommending it to some of my friends, especially those who have entertainment, news, and business websites.
“Cheap Themes Without Compromising The Quality”
So far one of the cheapest premium Wordpress themes I have ever purchased came from Obox-design. For only $30 investment, I already got 2 premium themes.
Considering the minimal cost per theme at only $15, I was expecting to get cheaply designed theme.
But I was wrong because the premium themes I got were nicely created with exceptional theme functions.
Theme features are unique and the images are professionaly-designed. It’s definitely worth more than the little amount I paid for each theme.

Rachel is definitely right. Obox provides high quality wordpress themes at very affordable prices. I highly recommend their themes to anyone who is looking for serious themes without spending an entire fortune.
