• AppPress
• wpChimera
• Enlightened
Let’s take the FullSide theme as an example. This theme can be styled in either the portfolio way or a corporate design. With the static homepage featured area, you can highlight events and make promotions for your products. The layout columns for this WordPress theme are made with short codes making it easy for you to modify and mould to your preference.
Other features that come with themes like the FullSide are areas that are homepage widget ready as well as the footer widget ready areas. These widgets provide an easier access to various pages like Twitter and Facebook for your viewers. These can also be disabled if you choose not to have widget ready areas just by accessing theme options on the admin page.
Theme Graphics
Each theme from Chimerathemes has at least five color schemes to choose from. Any theme that you pick is available in a color that you like. While some colors can be too brilliant but not as funky as Wobzy themes, Chimerathemes makes it so that the background and contrast these colors have on your websites do not overshadow the material and content of your site.
Just in case the colors that you prefer your site to have are not yet available, you don’t have to wait for a long time to get the WordPress theme of your choice. An average of two themes is released to provide for all your needs and the requirements that WordPress has.

Chimerathemes offers a variety of plans to go with the pricing scheme for the WordPress themes they have. If you purchase a FullSide theme for example, the whole package includes lifetime free updates. You can go for a package with PSD file included or not. With packages like the Membership developer package, you get the best value for the price of less than $167 and $8 per month, with Photoshop file, support requests, tutorials, theme updates and even concurrent domain users. Having just 4 themes in the portfolio, the membership package is just too expensive.
Theme Support
The support that you get from Chimerathemes is one that is full on. With a themes documentation area on the website that’s minutely updated, you can learn everything there is to know about the theme you selected for your business. If what you’re looking for is not available on the list, you can request help from the support forum.
Since the company is new with less than 3 months old, we haven’t got enough proof from Chimerathemes’ customers that their support is up to the standard yet. Hence, we are not giving them high score in this category.
There have been new theme launches in chimerathemes. The good thing is the latest themes are more functional than just look and feel changes like other themes do.
Themes like Impactpress which gives the user the flexibility to build templates to create own sales or any unique pages is cool.
Smartpress is built for iPhone App sellers with easy to integrate App Store IDs.
The support is also much more improved with dedicated support team looking and responding to every issue. I couldn’t find any unsolved issue and most of the issues are responded and solved within a day.
I agree with Montague… I purchased a theme from Chimera. I LOVE the functionality and the look. But… their support is horrible. They shouldn’t release any new themes – they can’t even support the one’s they have. The theme I purchased is full of bugs. For example, one cannot even see text via the latest IE browser. Can you imagine? I’ve told their support team (which is actually just the owner Adam) and they haven’t fixed it in weeks. Adam seems like a nice guy – but until he expands his team and fixes the bugs, I’d say steer clear. It’s a shame too – their themes are so easy to use. But I expect support responses within 24 hrs (it takes them over a week to respond) and bug requests to be fixed in a timely fashion (weeks so far and no fixes).
What’s not to like about Chimera themes? Ever since I signed up with them, my business had literally boomed!
We could have never reached this much success without the help of the company and we utterly thank them for that. We’ve been receiving major orders from here and around town. We will soon expand our business to be able to cater to other far away places as well still with the help of Chimera.
I can honestly say that they and I have a lot in common when it comes to valuing our customers. We both are in the business of making loyal customers more than money.
I’ve been with Chimera for quite a while now and nothing have changed much with the company ever since.
They don’t innovate as much to cope up with the modern times and they’re wordPress theme choices are very minimal. Sure hope they can come up with something new.
I just wanted to reply because I am the new owner of ChimeraThemes.com as of December 6, 2010. I took over the business to run it properly. My vision is to begin releasing 2 new themes per month, every month and our support forum is up and running. We have 2 support leads working to answer all questions, fix bugs and release updates.
